INFORMATION FOR TEAMS & SPECTATORS AT THE ICICLE CHALLENGE

OPENING – Doors will open at 8 AM on Saturday and 7 AM on Sunday. 12’s play SUNDAY ONLY

TEAM CHECK-IN – all teams must bring two copies of MMS roster [or Canadian equivalent] – please be prepared to show us your team medical forms.

Check-in @ EXPO CENTER : Friday 2/10 @ 6 – 8 pm; Saturday 2/11 @ 8 – 10 AM; Sunday 2/12 @ 7 – 9 AM

At check-in – you will receive a credential tag and lanyard for each player and coach, which is used as their admission tag

PARKING – there is NO Charge for parking at the Expo Center

ADMISSION – spectators must enter at the door marked spectators and be prepared to show they have already purchased a ticket on their phone or as printed out.

Tickets purchased on-site will be by CREDIT CARD ONLY.

DISCOUNT ticket prices are as follows: 2-day pass $ 18.00; 1-day pass $ 9.00

Discount price applies to tickets purchased before 8 pm on February 10, 2023

STANDARD PRICE TICKETS: 2-day pass $ 25.00; 1-day pass $ 15.00

Children 10 and under are at no charge

U12 players who attend on Saturday to see their siblings can receive a wristband on request that allows them to enter on Saturday.

Athletes and Coaches in uniform or with credentials admitted at no charge. Athletes and Coaches need to enter at the ATHLETE entrance.

NO outside chairs or food permitted. Chairs will be provided for spectators, and food is available on-site and nearby.

Tournament tee shirts, sweatshirts and other volleyball items will be available on-site.

Athletic Trainer on-site – please bring your own supplies.

We look forward to an excellent tournament! We are pleased to have teams from WEVA, NERVA, CANADA and, of course, EXCELSIOR. All age groups will be in the building at the same time [ except 12s- who are only on Sunday] lots of great volleyball to see !!

FOR THE 12U TEAMS: Players will be allowed to serve from anywhere on the court where they can be successful. However, they must start beyond the 3M line and should be encouraged to serve as close to the end line as possible.

Coaches are allowed to enter the court for instructional purposes briefly. Detail on the scoresheets is encouraged but not required.
